Columbus Brewing Company Beer Tasting

Columbus Brewing Company is actually one of the oldest craft breweries in central Ohio. They started operations in 1988 but haven’t opened a tap room until this year. They focus on extremely well made styles with little influence from the adjunct driven craziness of some craft beers today. Stop by the growler station, Ben from CBC will be there to answer questions about the brewery and their beers and you can sample four select varieties.

Featured Brews:

Summer Teeth German Style Lager: This is just a tasty crisp, golden lager. They use all European malts and classic Bavarian hops. 5.3%ABV/18IBU

Dark & Mild English Mild: A brand new release from CBC. This is that classic malty brown ale with English yeast and a soft easy drink. 3.5%ABV

Tangerine Grasshoppa Session IPA: This is just their classic Grasshoppa Session IPA brewed with Chinook, Simcoe and Citra hops with a tangerine. Perfect refreshing style for Summer! 4.7%ABV/45IBU

Bohdi Double IPA: Considered by many to be the best readily available Double IPA in Ohio. It is classic west coast style, dry with a big Citra hop kick up front. 8.3%ABV/80IBU
