Revolution Beer Tasting

These guys are one of my favorites and I feel like they are frequently overlooked. Along with brewing some extremely nice everyday products like Anti-Hero IPA they have one of the best barrel-aged programs in the country… Man Deth Star stout is good. We have one of their staples with Eugene Porter and a few of their seasonals and one-offs to sample at the growler station. Come on by!

Featured Brews:

Sun Crusher Hoppy Wheat Ale: A very crushable beer for Spring. A very balanced hop bill and a bit of dry hopping to add some very nice citrus notes. 5.3%ABV/35IBU

Cryo-Hero IPA: The newest edition to the Hero series. Made with cryo hop pellets of Citra, Simcoe, Mosic and Centennial hops. Every pound of cryo hops packs the punch of two pounds of regular hops. This one has an explosive aroma of clean citrus and fresh fruit. 7%ABV/58IBU

Eugene Porter: A very nicely balanced porter. A blend of Belgian and chocolate malts with lots of toasty and caramel flavors. Clean without too much sweetness. 6.8%ABV/28IBU

Batch 2000 Imperial Milk Stout: This was the official 2000th batch made at the Kedzie brewery location. It is a mash up of Deth’s Tar and Ryeway. Lots of coffee and marshmallow flavors with a nice spicy rye note through the finish. 10.5%ABV/35IBU
